The LS5 has 3 preset picture modes (cinema1, cinema2 and normal). You are able to adjust the lighting and color appearance only with choose once of the picture modes. Also has an option to zoon into the movie. The user can quickly and easily change brightness and color settings from the monitor itself. You can choose the audio between Surround Sound and headphones (provided at the left side of the Portable DVD Player).

The sound system is not the most powerful on market, but its pretty good. The speakers do not provide powerful bass output. However this device can be attached to an external source such as a TV or Home Theater system to provide a better quality sound.

It’s provided with Panasonic’s high-speed Smooth Motion Scan, which lets you scan forward and back at up to 100x in five steps.
